The loooooong wait has finally ended!

Bharath and me are officially ENGAGED!!

The rings were exchanged, the gifts were given, the rituals undertaken, the tension eased and the smiles broadened!!!.....

Another highlight was the grand success of my hard work!!...THE FAIRY TALE VIDEO!!!

Eve of the E day!!

18th August 2011, the day when i was most excited and scared! Never had mixed emotions like this!!.....Another highlight of the day was that Bharath finally proposed to me!.....even though it was coz of everyone forcing him, the words were his!!.....

He went down on one knee...after a while on both!...and asked me to marry him!:)

Said..."I'll do anything for you!!".....(hav that on record!! :P)

So finally this is it.....

Our 1st Anniversary!....its one year since we decided to be together!!....and to celebrate, we decided to spend the day together...juz the two of us.....in Yercaud!!!!:)

was an awesome trip!.....no more details disclosed! :P

19 days to 19th august...

Its only 19 days to go....for the big day....bharath and me are finally getting engaged...:) im totally excited....n so is he;)

Every gurl has a dream...that her prince charming proposes to her in way shes always imagined...im no less....i wanted flowers, a ring and candles.....but bharath is someone who will only do what he wants yo do....

He proposed......to my parents!!...wrote the most loving and touching email to my parents and asked them...."can I marry your daughter"....

Jan 3rd 2011- D day??...Naaaah

This is when the formal talks began!....The day both our parents decided "yeh dosti ko ristedari mein badalde??"...haha

A lil dinner party at home, and Appa asked Uncle and Aunty, are you happy with our daughter? Would you like to get your son married to our daughter?...and without doubt the answer was a definite YES!!

There was celebration of course, but the emotions in the hearts of the parents (espicially my mum n dad) cant be explained or understood easily.

I'm happy too!!!!...very happy.....but now i suddenly realize im a BIG gurl!...that thought is a bit scary!:(

Im now inked....with Bharath's name....this is not a way to prove my love to him, but definitely something special that i did for US!!....

The day i decided to have a tattoo, with a 'B' in it i was sure that i was gonna spend the rest of my life with him.....

Destiny.....The Farm Stay!

This was the first vacation Brat and me went on!!...after Nimishamba though....

This was when we actually got to know eachother better, our likes, dislikes, mood swings and everything!!...

Also Bharath's first birthday with ME!!......was a superr fun trip and hope to go back to ooty soon!

April 3rd 2011....

One month since the day we met. Another important day in my life!!.....The day that Bharath asked me out!!

We all (now a huge group of friends- Brats friends are my friends)....decided to go out. being saturday night and keeping up to the tradition, we arrived at Opus.

After a fun night, when it was time to head home...thanks to Bangalore curfew, Brat stopped me in the parking lot!!....

He held my hand, and these were his words; " Baby , this is not what i had planned, but since its gonna be 12:00 soon it has to be done now......I love you....Will you be with me....for the rest of my life?"........

This was a shocker.....not only the "romantic" parking lot location...but his words!....REST OF MY LIFE???....was he thinking?? LOL.....

I troubled him till 11:59 and finally said YES!!.....:))

Roshni Singh is instrumental in our meeting. She played matchmaker and to this day she is a catalyst in the relationship....Love you Rosh!!

After a marathon of chatting from March 1st, we decided to meet, on 3rd March 2011. The meeting was not planned but awaited. We met outside Vivanta by Taj (then Taj Residency)....mind you OUTSIDE Taj!!....

My prince charming was on his silver horse galloping away!...ooops did i divert from my story??....It was Bharath in his Silver Honda City....first impression PERFECT!!:P

I peeped into the window and said..."bharath??".....and he said "Pooja??".......and the rest as they say is HIStory.....lol...no ways this is MY blog!!....so its gonna be HER-story!!

This blog will tell you, how we met, how our relationship grew strong, the stories about our families, the preparation for D day and a lottttt more gossip!!

Another reason for this blog's existence is that so many of our relatives and friends arnt close by. but we would like to involve them while we continue our journey together. We want those guys in the US or anywhere else to still be part of the hulla gulla happening here!....so yup...this blog is for you guys!!
